Chalk another one up to revenge. What a good reason to try to destroy someone's life. And you have to admit, it's refreshing to see the words "twisted" and "nasty" applied to a false accuser in a news story.
A TWISTED teenager falsely accused her ex-boyfriend of raping her.
Nasty Ceilidh McCreadie, 18, subjected the innocent young man to a police investigation because she wanted him to feel extreme pain.
He was forced to undergo a police interview, give DNA and surrender his clothes for forensic examination.
Meanwhile, police scoured CCTV footage, undertook door-to-door enquiries and carried out a scene of crime examination.
But after she refused to have a medical examination, McCreadie, who lived in Ayr at the time, admitted she had made the whole thing up.
She now faces jail over her false claims.
This week at Ayr Sheriff Court, she pleaded guilty to rendering her victim liable to suspicion and accusation.
The charge also reads that she wasted the time of the police and deprived the public of their services while they investigated her false claim.
Depute fiscal Isabel Vincent told Sheriff Desmond Leslie that McCreadie and her brother turned up at Ayr police office at around 11.45pm on July 31 last year.
McCreadie told officers she had been raped but while she was making a statement, her behaviour became problematic.
She refused to co-operate and was upset and crying.
On completion of the statement, the investigation process was explained to her.
At that point, McCreadie grabbed the paper her statement was written on and scrunched it up.
She initially refused to give a medical examination but when officers explained it would provide a forensic opportunity, she agreed.
McCreadie went with police to Glasgow for the medical exam but on arrival she immediately refused to have it.
Officers later tried to get another statement from McCreadie and she asked for it to be retracted.
McCreadie stated that she had a “deep hatred” towards her ex-boyfriend.
She said that due to his conduct she wanted him to “experience extreme pain.”
Sheriff Leslie deferred sentence on McCreadie, who now lives in Dundonald, for background reports.

I want her to experience the "extreme pain" that she inflicted on her boyfriend -- in the form of a long prison sentence!
Enough is enough!
Girls are gonna lie about being raped until they are told they cannot. Law enforcements collusion with the the Gender feminist community in manufacturing misinformation, and no longer charging false rape accusers is a violation of the 14th amendments equal protection clause of the constitution.
Over the last 15 years or so, law enforcement can now "cash in" on crimes commited by men, and cannot "Cash in" on crimes commited by women. This perversion of law enforcement is leading to violent women being "Enabled", and innocent men being harrased and prosecuted. The Law enforcement community has become the "GENDER FEMINIST ARM"...and this perversion is a violation of the 14th amendments clause of "Equal protection". The real problem here folks is that American males are so " BROKEN AND DIVIDED", that they cannot get together to fix even the most flaming violation of the constitution.
"Girls are gonna lie about being raped until they are told they cannot."
Yep.
Bring in Sharia law, no such thing as rape unless three men witness it and report it.

Enough already.

No, being reasonable doesn't cut it with feminist kooks, but being reasonable does cut it with the general public. They are simply not aware of the problem because almost everything people hear about rape comes from feminists.
Imagine if a woman was forced to surrender her clothes for an examination based on a man's false claim. I suspect we'd never hear the end of it.

You might want to try reading the stories BEFORE commenting. Not only was the story NOT in the US, but the police DID their investigation (as they are REQUIRED to), they pushed on her, and they broke her lie down. She's named (he isn't), her picture published, and she's facing jail time (In the US, she might walk much easier than in Scotland). It's not the best possible of all outcomes, but it sure beats the Hell out of what was the typical case just a few short years ago.
Yes, the target of her malice was treated as a suspect, interrogated and evidence gather from him. But, theat's part of NORMAL police procedures for a variety of crimes. It's also something that can be addressed, and perhaps improved for men so as innocent men are not subject to as harsh a treatment.
The thing is, police DO need to do investigations, and people named buy accusers (for any serious crime) are going to be investigated. LE is not a bunch of mind-readers who can tell in an instant if a given claim is real or not. Only a proper and thorough investigation can determine that.
Again, as you continually fail to recognize, it all comes down to the person making the false claim. But for their doing so, LE would never even become involved to either get it right (as clearly they have done in this case), or to completely F' it up.
And, again, when they do get it right, rather than ill-thought anti-LE screeds, the cause of protecting men (and women, too) from FRA's will be much better served by making and example of police work done right, and contrasting it with instance in which they've failed.
Look, I know why you have it in for the police. But, realistically, it was just those few you dealt with who you have any real beef with. And, even then, from what you've described, it seems far more likely that they were merely lazy or white-knighting on behalf of your accuser, rather than engaging in some deep and far reaching LE conspiracy to encourage false allegations and frame innocent men for fun and profit. And, by your own words, you all but forgiven the woman who made your life Hell just to get (victims assistance) money for drugs.
Frankly, and it gives me no joy to say so, your constant misdirected rants make you seem at least a bit "unhinged".
I agree, a simple, small effort could well have exonerated you. But, the answer in not to round up all the cops and march them into ovens. What IS needed is a combination of better police training, better police exposure to the reality that woman are capable of lying, and reformed laws which provide for the proper protections for anyone accused of any crime (and perhaps penalties for LE members who fail to follow their legal and ethical mandates).
Be sure to give the story a 5 star rating to make it the most popular news item on that site.
"Again, as you continually fail to recognize, it all comes down to the person making the false claim."
Most of the time, the system works as it should. And we've said it time and time again: law enforcement, by and large, does a terrific job handling these lies.
But there are problems that often lead to terrible injustices, and we can't ignore them. The system is, in some very critical senses, skewed against men, even innocent men, accused of rape. We've done stories here about police, prosecutors, and SANE nurses with pro-sexual assault "victim" agendas that lead them to assume every allegation is factual. That can be a major problem.
Aside from individuals who put their personal agendas ahead of their duties, some LE policies are inherently harmful. Pretext calls are barbaric (one happened to a client of mine). The goal is to trap an unsuspecting man into blurting something out that might be used as evidence against that can help convict him.
Arrest-first, without believing the accused and without checking other evidence (including videos) is also barbaric. I suspect most cases are handled closer to the Roethlisberger case as opposed to the Hofstra case, but it's because of cases like Hofstra that we have this site.
Setting bail unmercifully high for these cases also is barbaric. There is no need to jail presumptively innocent men when restraining orders are routinely issued against other supposedly scary men to keep women from purported harm. And paying one's way out of jail (which means only the less well to do stay) is singularly barbaric, and unfair. I am amazed it is still allowed. I promise that at some future time, our enlightened great-great grandchildren will look back at that practice in wonderment.
And, of course, the police need to do a better job of insisting that the press report what they say. Stop reporting that an accusation by a lone woman or girl is believed by police (and yes, most newspapers are guilty of that in the rape context). Police can stop it by complaining about it. They don't, so they are part of the problem.
And, of course, LE rarely charges false accusers, which is a big problem.
LE is a part of the problem. It's not just the false accusers. If LE did its job perfectly, I doubt I would need to do this blog. But we don't live in a perfect world, and LE is like all other imperfect institutions, better than most.
It is good to remember that false rape accusers are the primary problem, and the "but for" cause. But taken to it's extreme, so are Adam and Eve. An effective solution to the false rape problem can't just focus on the false accuser.
Feminist rape hysteria leads to false rape accusations. Plain and simple.
Man spends 3 years in prison for being falsely accused of a rape that never happened. I find the comments very enlightening

Hum, this may be one FRS may want to look into:

(I am googling FRA because I know sooner or later my husbands FRA will do it for the 3rd or 4th time, and i am looking for a mess up from her)
A report revealed yesterday that officers were told Taylor was 'unreliable', ' unstable' and craved attention - but they failed to disclose it at his trial.

And that's how false convictions happen, folks. Now: let's all hold our breath until the fraud gets her prison sentence.
Its weird, in scotland I actually belived in our justice system , each year that is eroded.
as i reported on my blog, just TODAY, 3 different wimmin, in 3 separate cases, were arrested and charged with misdemeanors for filing false rape claims in orlando, florida. one said she did it to 'get back at her boyfriend'. fuckin lying crazy bastards.
anyway, the BIG problem here is that filing a false rape report is just a misdemeanor.
make it a felony!
then, you'll see a LOT less of this shit
No you won't, because they wouldn't be charged with a felony even if the law allowed it. Just changing the law doesn't make a difference when the nifongs are running the show.
The victims of false rape accusations deserve equal justice.
False rape accusations are just as harmful as rape.
Reducing rape reporting fraud will benefit all decent people.
Anonymous - "No you won't, because they wouldn't be charged with a felony even if the law allowed it. Just changing the law doesn't make a difference when the nifongs are running the show."
Except that... the empirical evidence coming from the UK is that women who make false rape accusations are being charged with the felony of Perverting the Course of Justice, and a good many are being sentenced to meaningful amounts of jail time (While many may feel 1-2 years sentences aren't enough, the fact that they've been convicted of a felony stays on their record, and having to actually do some time means that they will most likley have lost whatever employment they may have had. Getting a good paying job after getting out will be very difficult as they have a felony record and time served. While it may pale compared to the harm done to innocent men falsely accused, it does give them some taste of their own medicine. Once enough of their stories of not being able to find jobs, nor men stupid enough to let them latch-on, start making the rounds, other women will be given a much stronger deterrent should they ever consider an FRA for their own selfish reasons.)
And, all too often the reason prosecutors decline to fully pursue misdemeanor charges (and plea-bargain to get a disposition) is because the penalty to be gained (a deferred judgment and a weekend of community service, typically) hardly justifies the time and expense that they will have to incur seeking that slap-on-the-wrist (Prosecutors have to pay for all these things out of their budgets).
Also, with felony level charges come much more substantial fines. This is another good way to punish FRA's which will actually get the attention of other women. Civil suits would also be helpful. If women hear about someone they know who has to forgo the trip to Cabo because they have to pay fines for having made an FRA, or about some women who can't afford all the shoes and handbags she never needed because her wages are being garnished to satisfy a court-ordered judgment against for the cost of having made and FRA; then they will know that they have something real to fear should they ever be tempted to try to weasel-out of their own misdeeds via a timely false rape claim of their own.
And, do note, while there are some Nifong's out there, they are far more who are not.
exactly.the push should be to make fra's felonies.
